The laser effect is neat, everything looks good and the game seems like it could be fun. The problem is that I don't really seem to be progressing (1000 xp is a lot), nor do I seem to be taking any damage.
yeah with the math it uses you don't actually start taking damage until the 2nd level. and yes i do agree the levels are a bit too long. i didn't really polish out the mechanics just wanted to release it for that robot day thing. it's a game i made at the end of last year but never released.
Hey, I'm guessing you made this using a course on how to use Unity. The games in the course are more so meant to teach you how to make a game in general, not just that specific game. So once you've gotten the hang of Unity you should make your own games and post them here. The games made during that course have all been done before, and in their unchanged state aren't that good. So unless you make large changes to them I wouldn't recommend posting them.
An alright game. A couple quick changes I would add is to make the platforms in the first yellow level move a bit lower than they currently do and to add some music. One other thing is that it can be hard to change gravity while moving for some reason.
Thanks for commenting! This would really help. :)
So close to being good. The beginning is amazing, and I thought I would love this song, but the drums completely ruined it for me. They sound very artificial and ruin the initial mood of the song.
